Step by step

2. Sign in with VK - Click sign in and grant access to your videos. After the OAuth redirect, copy the full address from your browser's address bar - it will contain an access_token - and paste it into the form. We never ask for or see your VK password.
3. Paste the video link - Copy the full URL or the owner_video ID. Click to search for the file: the service will call the video API on your behalf and show you the available quality.
4. Save the file - The download runs through saved.video so your browser actually saves the MP4 instead of opening an empty CDN tab. On phones, the file usually lands in "Downloads".

Which links and IDs work

The most reliable option is to copy the address straight from your browser's address bar once the video is already open. Short "share" links often work too, as long as they ultimately lead to a video or clip page.

Token and security

The token is what lets the video API return files your account already has access to. saved.video does not store it in any database: it lives only in your browser's session cookie until you sign out or the session expires.

Common issues and fixes

• Download won't start on a phone - allow downloads for the site in your browser settings
