How to Download VK Clips
Download a VK clip from a link with saved.video: sign in with VK OAuth, paste a URL like vk.com/clip…, and save the vertical MP4 in your browser. No software or extensions needed.
Clips vs. regular VK video
From a user's perspective, a clip is a short vertical video in the VK Clips feed. For saved.video it's the same video API underneath: it needs VK authorization and a link (or ID) that your account can access.
There is no separate "clips only" tool - use the VK Video download page. Clip links often look like vk.com/clip... or point to vkvideo.ru.
Step by step
- Copy the clip link - In the app or on the website: "Share" -> copy link. If you're copying from the feed, open the clip in full first.
- Sign in with VK on saved.video - Open the "Download VK Video" tool, complete OAuth, and paste the full URL with access_token into the form.
- Paste the clip link - Paste the clip URL into the file search field and wait for the result.
- Download the file - Save the MP4. If only HLS is available - on a PC, use ffmpeg following the hint; on a phone, it's easier to find another clip with progressive MP4.
Clips on a phone
The easy path: copy the link in the VK app -> open saved.video in your browser -> OAuth -> paste the clip link -> download. For details on the mobile scenario, see the phone guide.

If the clip can't be found
- The link points to the author's page or the feed, not to a single clip
- The clip is not accessible to your account
- The OAuth session has expired - sign in again
- Only HLS is available - use ffmpeg or try a different clip
