How to Download YouTube Shorts
Download YouTube Shorts from a link with saved.video: copy the URL of a short video from youtube.com or youtu.be and save the MP4 in your browser. There's no separate "Shorts mode" - the regular YouTube downloader works fine.
How downloading Shorts differs
For downloading purposes, Shorts are almost the same as regular videos: you just need a direct link to the video. The URL often has /shorts/ in the path - saved.video accepts these links the same way it accepts watch?v=… ones.
The files are short, so even high quality usually stays small in size. The service doesn't offer separate audio extraction ("music from Shorts") - only the video file.
Step by step
- Copy the link to the Short - On the site or in the app: "Share" → "Copy link". Make sure it's a single video, not the whole Shorts feed.
- Paste it into the YouTube tool - Open "Download from YouTube" on saved.video and paste the URL.
- Pick a quality - The list depends on the video. 720p is usually enough for a phone; on a PC you can grab the highest quality available.
- Save the file - Click a quality option and your browser will download the file. On a phone it lands in Downloads or the Files app.

Limitations
- No separate MP3 / "extract audio" option
- Private and unavailable Shorts can't be downloaded
- 4K is not guaranteed
- Bulk downloading of the whole feed is not supported
