How to Download VK Video on Your Phone
Link from the VK app → your phone browser → file in Downloads. No VK sign-in, tokens, or third-party apps.
How the phone workflow differs
The logic is the same as on a PC: video link → saved.video → file. On a phone, people usually copy the link via "Share" in the VK app rather than from the address bar. You don't need to sign in to VK in the browser.
VK clips download the same way; the separate guide is useful if you are specifically after the short vertical format.
Step by step on a phone
- Copy the link on VK - Open the video or clip → "Share" → copy link. Both vk.com and vkvideo.ru work.
- Open saved.video in your browser - Chrome on Android, or Safari/Chrome on iPhone. Go to "Download VK Video."
- Paste the link - Paste the copied URL into the field and click "Get file" - the available qualities appear.
- Download the file - Pick a quality and tap download. On Android it goes to Downloads, on iPhone to Files.
Android and iPhone
On Android the file usually shows up right away in the download notification and in the Files app. On iPhone, choose to save it to Files after downloading - otherwise the browser may only offer to open a preview. To get the video into Photos, open it in Files and tap "Save Video."
- To save space and data, pick 480p or 360p
- Long movies are easier to download over Wi-Fi or on a PC

If it won't download
- The link points to a playlist or profile - you need a specific video/clip
- The browser is blocking downloads - allow them for the site
- The video is not public - sign in with VK if it is available to your account
- The download stopped - request the file again and keep the browser open until it finishes
