Privacy Policy

1. General provisions
We process data to the minimum extent needed to run our free web tools: downloading video, making technical API requests, and showing traffic statistics.
2. What data we process
Depending on the tool, we may process: your IP address and technical request headers; your browser's session cookie; for the VK Video tool - a temporary VK access token that you provide yourself after OAuth (it is stored only in your session cookie on your side and is never saved in our database); the video URL or IDs you submit for processing; and web-analytics data (Yandex.Metrica / Webvisor, Google Analytics), unless you have blocked analytics scripts. On your device (in the browser's localStorage) we may save the title, link, and thumbnail of recently opened videos so we can show your download and watch history. These records are not sent to our servers and are not synced across devices. Separately: in our Telegram bot, the video link you send is stored on the server for a short time together with the identifier of the file we already delivered, so that the same link can be served instantly without downloading it again; the video files themselves are not kept there. The same link may be stored if you tap “Open in Telegram” on the website, so the bot can find the video without asking you to paste the address again.
3. Purposes of processing
Providing the features of the service; ensuring security and limiting abuse (rate limiting); improving the product using anonymized statistics; and complying with legal requirements where required.
4. Cookies and analytics
Session cookies are needed to sign you in within certain tools. History of recently opened videos is stored in your browser's localStorage: you can clear it with the button in the interface or by deleting the site's data. Yandex.Metrica and Google Analytics may use their own cookies to count visits; Metrica may also record sessions when Webvisor is enabled. You can restrict cookies in your browser settings, though some features will then stop working.
5. Disclosure to third parties
For the tools to work, requests are sent to the source platforms (for example, VK, YouTube) and to our hosting infrastructure. Analytics data is processed by Yandex. We do not sell your personal data.
6. Retention period
Session data persists for as long as the cookie stays active or until you sign out of the tool's account. Local video history stays in the browser until you clear it or delete the site's data. The Telegram bot cache keeps a link for no longer than 24 hours, after which the record is deleted automatically. A link from a website-to-bot handoff is kept for up to 30 minutes and deleted as soon as it is used. Server logs and analytics are kept for the usual periods used by our providers and for our own technical needs.
