How to Download a TikTok Video on Phone or Computer
Download TikTok video from a link with saved.video: copy the URL of a public video, paste it into the tool, and save the MP4 with no service watermark. No sign-up needed; private profiles and MP3 are not supported.
What kind of link works
You need a link to a specific public video on tiktok.com. Addresses like tiktok.com/@user/video/… work, as do the short vm.tiktok.com / vt.tiktok.com links. A link to an entire profile, a private account, or a photo slideshow with no video won't work for downloading.
- The clip must open without signing in to someone else's account
- Short TikTok links are accepted just like full ones
- No sign-up on saved.video or browser extensions are needed
How to Download a TikTok Video by Link
- Copy the URL - In the TikTok app: "Share" → "Copy link". In a browser, you can just copy the video page address.
- Open saved.video - Go to the "Download TikTok video" tool and paste the URL into the field.
- Find the options - Click the search button and wait for the title, preview, and list of available qualities to appear.
- Download the video - Pick a quality. The MP4 will be saved through your browser's standard download.
Go to the tool: download TikTok video online.
On phone or on computer
On Android, the file usually lands in the "Downloads" folder. On iPhone, you can open the download through Safari and the Files app, then save the video to "Photos". On a computer, the browser uses whichever download folder you've set.

Quality and watermarks
saved.video shows the versions without TikTok's own overlay (the @author / logo badge) that the platform returns for a given link, and it doesn't add a watermark of its own. Any text or logo the creator already burned into the video will remain part of the file. There's no separate MP3 extraction or "TikTok sound" ripping in the product.
If the video won't download
- Make sure the link points to a public video, not a profile or a photo post with no video
- Check that the video hasn't been deleted and the account isn't private
- Copy the link again through the "Share" menu
- If you hit a temporary error, wait a minute and try again
- Allow your browser to download files from saved.video
